The increased popularity of Solo Leveling should automatically result in the anime’s renewal for a third season. Recently, the anime’s producer stated that “Solo Leveling will come to an end, for now.” Earlier, speculations circulated online that Solo Leveling season 3 had already been greenlit by A-1 Pictures. Only one question remains: when will Solo Leveling Season 3 be released.
Although the production team has yet to confirm the release date of Solo Leveling Season 3, we may make some predictions based on the anime’s previous release pattern. The first and second seasons of the anime premiered in January 2024 and 2025, respectively.
So we expect Solo Leveling Season 3 to release in January 2026. But take this information with a grain of salt, as the release could be delayed if the studio is busy with other projects.
Solo Leveling – Arise from the Shadow, often known as Season 2, was essentially a continuation of Season 1, which is why the anime returned earlier than expected. As they begin work on season 3, the release date may be pushed back, maybe to Fall 2026 or Winter 2027. We will have to wait some more to figure out when the release will happen.
A-1 Pictures has already accelerated the rate at which they are adapting the Solo Leveling manga. They have successfully completed the plot up till the Jeju Island arc in Season 2. So far, 107 chapters have been completed, and Season 3 will begin with the Recruitment arc.
The third season will raise the stakes higher than ever before with the introduction of new villains and supporting stars for the final saga, some of whom have already been teased in Season 2.
