Thus far, the anime community has benefited much from Anime Expo 2025. Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Season 2 has been confirmed, and there are intriguing production updates for the Chainsaw Man: Reze film. Bleach fans haven’t had a wonderful time at the event, though. Part 4 of the Bleach TYBW Arc: The Calamity was apparently anticipated by the whole Bleach fandom, along with a trailer and a precise release date. Fans are disappointed, though, as Studio Pierrot only provides a 2026 release window.

Since Bleach TYBW’s third installment ended in 2024, viewers anticipated that the show will resume with Part 4 in 2025. The company did, however, confirm during Anime Expo 2025 that the last installment will be available in 2026. The company didn’t even release a trailer for the Calamity at the event, which is arguably more frustrating for fans than the delay.
On top of that, instead of giving fans a concrete release date, they gave fans “2026.” Now, the final part might be released in the first quarter of 2026, or it might make us wait until the final quarter of the next year.
So, it’s obvious that some fans are showing their disappointment on social media. For instance, one user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote: “So all this countdown just for this panel? We waited for the trailer.” Another user wrote: “That’s it? No trailer or something?“
