The Batman Part 2 has generated a lot of excitement, and fans are keen to find out everything they can about the impending film. Of course, we won’t be able to view that beauty in theaters until 2027, but occasionally we learn of some intriguing developments regarding the eagerly anticipated Part 2. Additionally, the actor who plays Penguin in the film, Colin Farrell, recently shared some intriguing details about the Part 2 script.
Colin Farrell discussed his emotions at being cast in Matt Reeves’ Batman in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. Colin said that he was upset to have only received roughly five lines in the first movie, but he felt confident about the part because of the character’s general appearance and concept.

Furthermore, Colin Farrell spoke extensively about the Batman Part 2 script. Colin said that he had read the script and that he was awestruck by what the movie will contain. In the interview, the actor stated that although he is unable to discuss the script in great detail, he can affirm that the second half would be “deeper” and significantly “scarier.”
I’ve read the script, from start to finish, and I can’t say much about it. But it’s deeper, scarier, the stakes are bigger. I’m really excited to see it. – Colin Farrell
Colin also affirmed that in Batman Part II, the stakes are higher. To put it briefly, be ready to worry about your favorite characters because the film will not hold back when it comes to physically or emotionally harming them.
That’s not it, though, as Colin also confirmed in the interview that his role will be even shorter than the first film, but he’s “okay with that.” The actor is thrilled about the impact the minor role will have on the final product.
