The first trailer for Avengers: Doomsday has finally been released after what seemed like an endless wait. Although the teaser is brief, it includes something—or rather, someone—that fans have been looking forward to seeing again. I’m sure you already know who I mean. While the teaser’s confirmation of Steve Rogers’ return for Avengers Doomsday is an incredibly amazing news on its own, Marvel continued to astound us by revealing that Rogers is now a parent. The crucial topic at hand is who Steve Rogers, also known as Captain America’s child, is in Avengers: Doomsday. Does he appear in the comic books? Let’s investigate.
Who Is Captain America’s Baby in Avengers: Doomsday?
Now, this question could be rather tricky to answer because in mainstream Marvel Comics, Steve Rogers did not really have children. However, in What If…? storylines, we get to see him have a baby with multiple Marvel characters. In one storyline, he had a baby with Rogue, who became a superhero named Crusader with powers inherited from both her mom and dad.

In another interesting turn of events, Captain America had twins with Natasha Romanoff named James and Sarah Rogers, but since this happened in Avengers Legacies, a non-canonical event, it does not really matter in the bigger picture.
Now, coming to Peggy Carter, in some scattered Marvel stories, Steve Rogers had a child named Rick or Nick with Peggy, and in Avengers: Doomsday, there’s a chance that we could see one of them being the baby Steve is holding in his arms. The anticipation regarding this kid’s identity might just be the biggest question on the internet.
Looking at things, this was the first teaser, and according to some scoopers, the next one will likely involve Thor, so it’s likely that we won’t be able to find out who the youngster is until the film really comes out.
